If you want to start at the very beginning, The Lion's Courtship works as a prequel and shows Anna before Holmes is part of her life. The Devil's Grin, The Fall, and The Journey form the core run, and Moriarty gathers those central novels in one volume. Across all of them, the promise stays the same: gaslight, grime, medical danger, sharp minds, and a heroine who has to fight both the killer in front of her and the century around her.
