What starts as a job becomes much harder to keep professional as Trey and Elle try to identify who is targeting her.

Hard Justice brings the team to Miami, where operative Charlotte "Charlie" Sparks and former SEAL commander Vince Franklin must pose as an engaged couple on assignment. Charlie is Alpha Security's first female operative and has no patience for Vince's confidence or his habit of getting under her skin. Their fake relationship is useful for the mission, but their friction starts feeling much less like an act.

The shorter Hot Target returns to Rachel Kline, who heads to Las Vegas to search for a missing friend and winds up in jail after a police raid. Logan Callahan, an ex-Marine and Alpha operative, bails her out. When someone begins shooting at Rachel, the search turns into a race to stay alive.

The series is built for readers who like capable heroines and protective, battle-tested heroes, with the mission and the romance moving at the same time.
