Aegis Security (Tawny Weber) Books in Order

Aegis Security takes Tawny Weber's military romance instincts and shifts them into romantic suspense. The heroes here are still shaped by Navy SEAL life, but the focus is less on active team culture and more on what happens after injury, career change, and the move into private security work.

That gives the series a slightly different feel from the earlier SEAL books. The men are still highly trained and very protective, but they are also dealing with transition. They are figuring out who they are when the old mission is gone, what parts of the job they can carry forward, and what happens when a civilian assignment becomes anything but safe.

In Navy SEAL to the Rescue, Travis Hawkins heads to Costa Rica for rest and instead ends up helping Lila Adrian after she witnesses a murder. In Navy SEAL Bodyguard, Spencer Lloyd takes what should be a straightforward protection job and discovers that guarding Mia Cade is complicated on every possible level. Both books use beautiful settings and close-quarters tension, then tighten the screws with crime, pursuit, and attraction that keeps getting harder to ignore.

The series moves quickly and keeps the external danger active. These are not quiet relationship stories with a little suspense pasted on top. The cases matter, the threats are real, and the romance has to develop under pressure. Weber still brings plenty of heat, but she gives these books a little more edge and urgency than some of her lighter Blaze work.

If you like wounded-warrior energy, private security setups, and heroes who fall hardest when they are supposed to stay professional, Aegis Security is a good place to land. It is a short series, easy to read in order, and strong for readers who want a clean mix of action, protection, and romance.
