A Crime Family Affair Books in Order

A Crime Family Affair is one of Logan Fox's most openly cartel-driven series. It is dark, violent, and very much interested in what happens when two people who should absolutely kill each other instead become tangled up beyond reason. If you like organized-crime romance with a lot of action in the plot, this is one of her better entry points.

The series centers on Nyx Gray and Caesar, better known as Savage, the son of a cartel boss. Nyx enters the story as an assassin trying to take out Savage's father. That job goes badly in the most Logan Fox way possible. Instead of dying, she gets dragged into the Domingo crime family's orbit and becomes the one woman Savage cannot stop watching, provoking, or keeping close.

That first setup powers Savage Hero, but the series does not reset after book one. Wild Angel and Cruel Devil continue the same dangerous push-pull between Savage and Nyx, while widening the scope around them. Nyx is not only fighting for herself. She is also trying to protect and recover her sisters, which gives the series an emotional spine beneath all the cartel bloodshed and possessive lust.

These two are combustible.

The family part of the title matters, too. Fox uses the cartel structure to keep the pressure high. Fathers, uncles, cousins, rivals, and hired men all have a say in what happens. Every alliance feels temporary. Every rescue comes with strings. Savage is dangerous because he is violent and obsessive, but also because he belongs to a machine that does not care what love costs.

So what should you expect here? A continuing couple, not neat standalones. Cliffhangers. Captivity. Cartel politics. A heroine with real fight in her, and a hero whose tenderness only shows up after he has done something terrible. It is messy on purpose.
