The Sixth Day and The Last Second continue the pattern with ruthless masterminds, advanced technology, and threats capable of causing large-scale harm.

These are action thrillers more than conventional police procedurals. Expect travel, hidden organizations, dangerous villains, narrow escapes, specialized knowledge, and cases that can jump from one country to another before the agents have a chance to catch their breath.
